Muscular Body Types,What works for ONE does NOT work for all!

Has being a string bean never been your forte naturally without rigorous exercise,dieting?

 You can add in all the cardio sessions,diets and resistance training but your body probably tends to reach a point thats hard to push past. More of a muscular frame, do you tend to have curvier thighs and glutes?

Yes, this all sounds too familiar to me, you are a mesomorph! :)

Just learn to embrace what your momma gave you!

 Truth be told,many other body types wish to have ours! Just as we wish to have theirs, and the cycle continues!

 We are the Jessica Biel's,Marisa Miller's,Jennifer Aniston's, skinny yes but more athletic!

 Not like Taylor Swift or size 0 Mary-kate Olsen. Our genetic makeup is just different,we tend to have larger muscle's in our genetic makeup.. bulking up easier, and faster! So if this is not your goal, resistance training will be your best friend. Cardio only 2-3 times a week to not bulk either short high resistance or plug in your fav show and walk on the tredmill for an hour+ and just tons of pilates/yoga type moves, my favorite trainer is Tracy Anderson! Her dvd's and video webisodes on youtube have never steered me wrong! She works your muscle's by leaning you out with your own body as your resistance. Tracy has never done me wrong, my only error is by straying away from her method and trying out other techniques which have always caused me to bulk.

Other body charateristics:
  • Naturally lean/muscular/strong
  • Small-Med sized bones/joints
  • You respond quickly to exercise; gaining muscle quickly
  • You gain just as quick as you loose weight wise
  • In some broad shoulders:upper body larder than lower or hourglass shape
  • Muscular thighs/legs
This was me with alot of Tracy Anderson,Barre 3 Resistance training
and mindful diet, no cardio to not bulk!At about 107 this is the leanest my
body will achieve healthy!
 This body type can be lean. 80% of this outcome will be based on your diet and consistancy.


You will need to focus on easily digestable proteins,vegetables,fruits. For every body type this will be different. You know which foods make you feel bloated? Save those for night time!Some foods are digested more rapidly unlike some take our bodies alot more effort to digest! We all digest things diffently depending on your own body's pH scale. I know for me the more alkaline I tend to eat...the easier I digest and never feel bloated! I can eat all the fish, spinach, grapefruit, celery, eggs, I want and be so full and not look full at all! However if I have some chicken,broccolli,beets,even some salad dressings(due to sodium/starch content NOT calories) ..something more starchy and harder to digest, I notice an instant pooch! So its just good to know what works for you,so you can feel good all the time. Remember,different foods work differently for everybody too! :)

One very important underlying Rule of Thumb too! Results don't lie! And some are instant yes! Don't waste your time, "hanging in there" If you eat something and the next day weigh more, figure out what it is..cut it out,its not working for your body type.  But it worked for your friend,icon!Great..but its not working for you!

Same with workouts,yes muscle weighs more than fat,but you also do not want to constantly gain & gain muscle=lbs.,or your clothes will start to not fit all the same! So if you are working out and can notice that your body is looking larger,arms,&thighs are always a big indicator,if they have swollen, being a mesomorphic body type..we have larger muscle's so they swell and expand easier! So switch up your workout!I know everybody says cardio cardio,high intensity or low..but this has always made me bulk in the past!It does make you feel amazing but you are going to maintain more muscle, so if that is your goal then great,but if not,be aware of your decisions! Different things work for different people, thus the different body types! If anything just move everyday for 30-40mins its amazing what 10mins of arms,abs,legs will do for you daily at the end of the week! Or if you are sore, stretch!Put your fav playlist on and stretch for 20mins to elongate all your hard work and it'll help lean out those muscle's as well!


 Set realistic goals, be consistant and enjoy enhancing your body, not fighting it!



Perfection in the eye of the beholder.

Perfection, defined by so many of us in very different ways.

 Women, we overanalyze our beauty,clothes and body types.

We are always striving for something more,which I think is good, to a certain degree.

We have to learn that everybody, everyone's body was created so differently than the other.

Over the coarse of your lifetime you figure out what works for you, does not work for your friend, or what your friend finds works for them..regimen,diet wise,workout plan.. does not work for you!

 Be one of a kind!

Figure out who you are,and what works for you and just stick to it!!

 Curiosity killed the cat..! For a reason..trust me I am very curious..

I'm always researching different everything.. beliefs,cultures,recipes,body functions,muscle groups, the randomest stuff.. I'll have the facts on! I just love to research.. But leave the knowledge at the computer screen! Don't apply everything to yourself, stick to just one thing and the one thing that you have found that works for YOUR specific body.

 So look at yourself in the mirror,and just see what you would like to "enhance" not change,and be the best you, you can be! We only get One chance,One body.

 Perfection can be attained, by you being balanced and happy with yourself. Achieving ultimate harmony within yourself and maintaining it! Then everyday, the true beauty will come from the yourself beholding it in the mirror, reflections everywhere you go and your inner self.

 Being in the modeling world I have always had the ultimate pressure to stay thin,and maintain specific measurements that aren't natural to my body without hard work! Modeling loves the "stick like" body/natural string bean. Which I'll admit I used to have,and many girls do have effortlessly with all the fast food, gummy bears and Ice cream their hearts desire!

The big BUT-->Not everybody is genetically built to have this body type.

Some girls eat everything they want and can't gain a pound,while others have to work harder to stay in shape!

If you research the 3 major body build's..it will make senese to prescribe a workout and plan for your specific build!  What you are more genetically prone to! Suddenly when you have the blue print to your muscular makeup you know how to work your body to achieve the results you desire!

 I have learned alot of this over the years..not the same thing will work for 2 of us! Different combinations and lots of trials and errors to figure otu what works out for your body BEST is up to you!

 AND most importantly,once you have this figured out..stick to it! The more you switch it up the more unhappy you will be because you will be constantly starting over.

 I for example am an Mesomorph body type.

 I am brazilian thus already making me more of an athletic build. I am not a string bean body type or lean naturally. My thighs and butt are more athletic and I build muscle effortlessly. So thats great for most of us but for my job I need to lean out as much as possible. So I have found in all my trials that diet is key for me! 80% of what my body will show is based off of what I eat. And not only that but Mesomorph's gain/lose weight just as easily!So to maintain CONSISTANCY is key!Or you are constantly yo-yoing which is so bad for your body!

For me to stay lean its a combo of lean meats/veggies/fruits.

 Mornings: 2eggs with handful of spinach or arugula (pepper and dab of mustard optional)

Snack: Apple cider vinegar mix with water, or if I'm hungry cottage cheese with spoon of flex oil

Lunch: 1 Apple/or figs,Spinach with lemon/or balsamic,fish

Snack:Almonds -I always have them in my car!

Dinner: Huge salad or I just cook my salad so its mix of veggies,celery,carrots,spinach,mushrooms

 

Best foods for me,if you need to lean out and are most easily to digest:

 Spinach, Arugula, Tomato, Eggs, Fish:salmon,rock,cod, Grapefruit,Apples,Avocado,Figs

 

Fiber is an important part of your body but I tend to load up on fiber for dinner to feel fuller longer vs. feeling bloated all day! Doesn't promote the best workout attitude! Load up on broccolli,artichokes,figs,cherries,avocado's..all at night to help you on the late night snacking too! :)

 

Will elaborate more on the best workout types for this body type, for it is not your typical workout everyday,hard sweating or cardio induced! Like I said different things work for different people. And your beauty is in your own eyes,so find what makes you feel good..what size,what aspects of your life..and make sure everyday you do one thing for yourself..atleast!
